We have recently introduced Live Chat for General Federal Law enquiries. Court users can now chat online, in real time about migration, bankruptcy, workplace law, privacy, administrative law, admiralty, intellectual property and human rights.

Our Live Chat agents cannot provide legal advice but they can assist with information about:

  • applying to the Court
  • procedural advice about your case, and
  • support for the Commonwealth Courts Portal and eLodgment.

Live Chat is open from 8.45am (AEST) Monday to Friday for both Family Law and General Federal law enquiries. The service is closed on Australian National Public Holidays.
